\u00bfNotas que tiendes a sentirte con energ\u00eda o con sue\u00f1o a la misma hora todos los d\u00edas? Eso es porque su ritmo circadiano est\u00e1 funcionando. \u00bfQu\u00e9 es un ritmo circadiano? Su ritmo circadiano es esencialmente un reloj interno que opera en el fondo de su cerebro y alterna entre ciclos de somnolencia y alerta a intervalos regulares. Este ritmo determina nuestros patrones de sue\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Una buena higiene del sue\u00f1o es muy importante para la salud general. Durante el sue\u00f1o, el cuerpo est\u00e1 ocupado sanando y reparando. Dormir lo suficiente ayuda a mantener el sistema inmunol\u00f3gico fuerte y los buenos h\u00e1bitos de sue\u00f1o pueden incluso ayudar a mantener un peso saludable. La deficiencia del sue\u00f1o ocurre si no duermes lo suficiente constantemente, duermes a la hora equivocada del d\u00eda, no duermes bien o tienes un trastorno del sue\u00f1o. Los d\u00e9ficits continuos de sue\u00f1o est\u00e1n relacionados con un mayor riesgo de enfermedades card\u00edacas y renales, presi\u00f3n arterial alta, diabetes y accidentes cerebrovasculares. La falta de sue\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n puede inhibir la capacidad de tomar decisiones y resolver problemas.<\/p>\n

El principal factor que afecta su ritmo circadiano es la luz del d\u00eda. Cuando cae la noche, tus ojos env\u00edan una se\u00f1al al hipot\u00e1lamo de que es hora de adormecerse. Su cerebro, a su vez, env\u00eda una se\u00f1al a su cuerpo para que libere melatonina. La melatonina es una hormona que le permite al cuerpo saber que es hora de irse a dormir. Obviamente, la hora de acostarse var\u00eda seg\u00fan el individuo e incluso nos clasificamos como noct\u00e1mbulos o madrugadores.<\/p>\n

Cosas como el desfase horario o el cambio al horario de verano tambi\u00e9n pueden alterar nuestro ritmo circadiano.<\/p>\n

Entonces, para que su ritmo circadiano funcione de manera \u00f3ptima, mantenga h\u00e1bitos de sue\u00f1o regulares. Trate de acostarse a la misma hora por la noche y levantarse por la ma\u00f1ana a la misma hora todos los d\u00edas (incluidos los fines de semana).
